The HOT HCP Series Hydraulic Ceramic Plunger Pump is designed for filter press feeding, solid-liquid separation and demanding slurry transfer applications. Combining hydraulic drive technology with wear-resistant ceramic plungers, the pump is engineered to provide stable slurry delivery as pressure changes throughout the filter press cycle.
During the initial filling stage, the system can operate at relatively high flow and low pressure. As filtration resistance increases, selected HCP configurations reduce flow while increasing pressure, helping the pump follow the actual operating requirements of the filter press rather than running at a fixed output throughout the entire cycle.
The standard product range covers nominal capacities from approximately 15 to 250 m³/h, with standard pressure ranges up to 2.0 MPa depending on model and configuration. The series is suitable for mineral processing, coal preparation, tailings dewatering, wastewater treatment, chemical processing and other slurry-handling duties.

The HOT HCP pump uses a hydraulic power unit to drive one or more ceramic plungers in a reciprocating motion. The pumping cycle consists of alternating suction and discharge strokes controlled by inlet and outlet check valves.
Suction stroke: As the plunger retracts, negative pressure is created inside the pump chamber. The inlet valve opens and slurry is drawn into the chamber.
Discharge stroke: As the plunger moves forward, the inlet valve closes and the outlet valve opens, forcing slurry into the filter press or downstream pipeline.
Pressure adaptation: As the filter chambers fill and system resistance rises, selected HCP configurations automatically adapt flow to the increasing pressure requirement, moving from high-flow filling toward lower-flow, higher-pressure feeding.
Pressure-compensated option: The HOT-HCP-J Series uses a pressure-compensated variable-flow concept in which pump output changes with outlet pressure, making it particularly suitable for filter press feeding cycles.

Wear-Resistant Ceramic Plungers: Precision-machined alumina ceramic plungers improve resistance to wear and corrosion in abrasive slurry service. The partner technical data states plunger hardness above HRC85 and a surface roughness of approximately 0.4 μm.
Designed for Filter Press Feeding: The pump is configured around the changing flow and pressure demand of a filter press cycle, from rapid chamber filling to higher-pressure filtration.
